Abstract
This study aims to utilize waste oily sludge pit of operational waste oil refinery as an ingredient in the manufacture of hollow concrete bricks that are environmental friendly. This research was a laboratory scale by applying the techniques of stabilization / solidification. The study was conducted by giving variety of mud, cement and sand mixture. Then printed it with a size of 9 cm x 19 cm x 39 cm. Drying process is carried out for 28 days. Tests conducted on porosity, water absorption, density, compressive strength and TCLP. The results showed that the hollow concrete brick weighs, porosity, water absorption, and lower density than standard hollow concrete brick SNI and the market. All concrete hollow brick produced meets the quality standard TCLP (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure) by PP No.85 of 1999. Compressive strength of concrete hollow brick with mud composition: sand: cement by 24%: 56%: 20% quality level II qualified SNI 03-0349-1989.
