The Journal of Purification (e-ISSN: 2598-3806) publishes articles twice a year in June and December. At least 12 articles are published in a year, covering topics related to the technological and managerial aspects of environmental engineering. It was first published in January 2000 in printed version only. In 2014 Jurnal Purifikasi started to publish its content online and since 2017 it has been including previous printed-only volumes on its online version. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.u

Jurnal Purifikasi is published by Division of Jurnal Purifikasi, Department of Environmental Engineering-Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Geo Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Sanitary and Environmental Engineers (IATPI) East Java.
