EVALUASI KELAYAKAN ASH VALLEY PLTU SURALAYA SEBAGAI SECURE LANDFILL
Main Article Content
Abstract
PLTU Suralaya uses coal as a fuel. The major by products include fly ash (75%) and bottom ash (20%). All values from the results were still under the TCLP standard, so it was concluded that coal combustion products (such as fly ash and bottom ash) were classified as non hazardous wastes. Results from the leachate tests in the settling ponds revealed that the second settling pond contains the highest Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), equal to 1120 mg/l. This value has passed the regulatory limit of standard quality of wastewater from industrial activity, which is described in KEP-51/MENLH/10/1995.
