Abstract
The use of clean water has increased along with the growth of the Waingapu City’s population. At peak hours this increasing, which is managed by PDAM Matawai Amahu, cause some areas (especially at the end of service area) get the clean water without full pressure even though they can not extremely get the clean water. The analyses used for evaluating those condition are descriptive analysis among technical aspect (distribution and transmition system), financial aspect (condition of financial and invest feasibility), and institutional aspect. The analysis based on secondary data such as PDAM data, population data and area facilities. The study show that those problems are caused by the lack of water supply trough transmition pipe from Payeti’s Water Source, unsuitable the use of pipe dimension and high reservoir level. In the future (for next 10 years), development programs with main works items which should be done are add some new transmition pipes, contructing new reservoir, and expanding distribution net in order to increase service level from 67,97%, 2003 year become 82,00%, 2014 year. This project is feasible and beneficial for PDAM. In addition, the institution of PDAM’s Matawai Amahu should be reformed or restructured.
